During May 15-19, 2022,  the administration team, lecturers, and researchers from Musashino University, Japan met with the administration team, lecturers, and researchers of the College of Computing, Prince of Songkla University to discuss and exchange research and innovation ideas on waste management with digital technology in the Andaman Ocean provinces’ communities. The activities included data collection and surveying the islands and coastal areas of Koh Yao Noi (Yao Noi Island), installation of the Smart Garbage Box, surveying the area of Karon Municipality, visiting the Phuket Integrated Solid Waste Management Plant to learn about the waste management process which includes waste collection, sorting, and waste disposal, especially plastic waste, and trash collection with scooter activity joined by both Thai and international students of the College.
